We’re an Alaska owned and operated firm, located in mid-town Anchorage. Our staff are qualified and experienced. Our owner, Cathy Teagarden, has been an Alaskan for almost 20 years and wouldn’t live anywhere else. She founded PPC as a local business to provide quality services to Alaskan companies for their qualified retirement plans.

Credentialed: Cathy has 25+ years of retirement plan service and maintains several industry-recognized designations: Accredited Pension Administrator (APA) from the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA), Qualified Plan Administrator (QPA) and Certified Plan Consultant (CPC) from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). She is also an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA) who represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), concerning the IRS Forms 5300 and 5500 series. In addition, our staff is actively working on their credentials and participate in monthly educational sessions.
Trained: Pioneer Pension Consulting staff attend weekly training session and earn continuing education credits each year to maintain designations. That means we stay up-to-date on what’s going on with retirement plans so we can best help you keep your plans in compliance with the myriad of ever changing governmental regulations that apply to qualified plans.
